Thanks to ALL for Showing at the Fall BBQ!

I'm not sure what happend to our thread. I didn't think that it would be deleted right after we had the event. But props to Killjoy for being on the ball and keeping our subforum clear of crap. Anywho, thanks to all that showed up, hopefully we can have a 2-day event next year. If you want to see pics or talk about the Q, go to rotaryrendezvous.com and go to the forum tab. C-ya!

Your thread is right here: https://www.rx7club.com/south-rx-7-forum-34/fall-bbq-track-day-okc-685441/ Nobody "deleted" it.

The sticky expired automatically. I requested an admin look for the remains of the thread, but it looks like lots of threads were affected by some issue over the weekend. I assume whatever caused the forum to be down for nearly 24 hrs might have been the cause, please don't assume I'm out there sniping threads for kicks.

The original thread may still be there, but it seems to have an issue. A few days ago, the last part of it started returning a database error. Last I tried, it STILL won't open the last few posts.........................

Starting last Thursday images and attachments started randomly dissapearing around the forum... by Saturday night the forum crashed totally. Like i said previously they were most likely related, only an admin could tell for sure.

No, I did not actually read the post I quoted.............................

Of course I saw it, I simply said it won't open, so a new thread had to be created. Since the original thread couldn't be opened for a while, it was "lost" in the middle of the page after the sticky status expired.
No one said it was actually deleted, just that he didn't see it, and didn't think it would be deleted.

The problem with the forum is just one of many that have occured recently. Prolly why I don't visit as often anymore.

Actually he did say it was deleted...

I didn't think that it would be deleted right after we had the event...

How many people came out? Anyone going to do a full write-up/review of the event?

Hmmmmm.....

I didn't think that it would be deleted right after we had the event...
Yup, you're right, he said it was deleted. I may not be fresh outta school, but when I was in school, I learned that didn't was a contraction meaning did not.....

I don't know the total count, exactly. Around 40 people were there. I was too busy with other things to actually take a head count. Besides, I have trouble counting past 10, unless I take off my shoes............

Just wanted to thank everyone for showing up. We couldn't have done it w/o you guys. We had around 40 cars there. Everyone staying until 5 saw me break the rear plate on my T2.

Thanks again everyone.

LOL. It wouldn't have done any good if had found the original thread Adam, it's jacked up. That RX7 better start, you need it for this weekend's autox action.

This event was certainly a memorable one. Thanks to everyone who helped plan it, and to those who showed up.

And, the best part is, I'm always up for this kinda stuff........
Everyone that knows me, knows this. I'll argue with a circular saw, and give it a 3 round head start.......

I dunno if anyone got any group pics.

This was my first rotary BBQ to attend. What a blast, even though I showed up late. Lots of great cars, good food and good people. It was great fun to ride in Adam's car on the track. And Brad, how quick did you get your 7 up and running again?

I decided to relax and take my time. Its getting some changes. It wont have a t2 motor in it any more. I ordered everything needed today so by next weekend it should be on the road again.

Glad you could make it out.
