Art don't be trying to kick my turbo into the pit again man !!! Your car should be done soon too. Actually, I would like to wait until your car is done and a few others before we do the tuning.

Steve is booked from mid-sept. through 1st-2nd week of Oct. So, it looks like now we'll be getting in some cold weather tuning.

Perhaps end of Oct. now.

Hey, my car may be finished by the end of October! However, I KNOW that my motor won't be broken in by that time.

I would really love to have a properly tuned carb, though.......

Art,

Thanks for the update on my car. I cannot wait to feel the power of the single turbo! With Steve being booked up, I might be in a little bit of a quandry with the tuning. There is a tuning event up here (North East) on the 10th of September, but I don't think I can make that one. I guess I will have to figure something out.

Ted,

How does your car run with the T-66? I hope you are satisfied with it. I am sure Freddie did a great job with it.

I don't miss New Orleans too much, but I do miss the RX-7 community...I just haven't had too much time to get in with the guys up here (looks like there are a few opportunities), plus I don't have my car. But what can I do???

Keep me posted,

Charlie

Charlie, you know you miss New Orleans. This is the greatest place to live man.
Anyway, we do miss you as well. Right when you have your car all together you leave us.

As for my car, it still has about a day or two to finish up a few things. So, its not actually running just yet. Once your car is done we'll figure out when and where you can get it tuned. Contact me if you need anything. Tell Harumi we say hello.

Rotor On !!

Sounds good recon. I believe I have you on our mailing list already. If not, shoot me an email to Talvendi@cs.com

Jack with the montego blue..........cleanest FD in LA is usually out by the lake on Sunday evenings. My car is still down in Thibodaux finishing up a few things on it.

I am thinking of coming down from Atlanta to get my PFC tuned. Are there spaces available? Also, is there anything (aside from sending a deposit) that I would need to do to prepare for tuning? I haven't sprung for a wideband O2 sensor, so I don't have a bung welded into my exhaust yet. Is it required? Also, I heard that Steve brings a copy of datalogit with him, so I wouldn't need to buy/bring a copy. Can you confirm this?

Thanks,

Jim

Dude, we don't even know if 454 Dyno is still there. Heh. Katrina fucked us up, dude. I think quite a few guys may need to spend their money elsewhere besides a dyno tune after we finally get let back into Louisiana.

Hopefully, though, everything will be okay...

^Yeah, I hope for the best to everyone down there. We went through this last year (I live in Charlotte county, FL) but it was not this bad. Best of luck to everyone.

Since there is a possibility that the dyno day might not occur; this thread will be moved to the new section for now.

Ted, please update this thread when possible so we can close it if needed.

Thanks.
