Guys, just wanted to throw this out and invite anyone in or out of town to come down and join us for our Steve Kan New Orleans tuning part II.

Tuning will take place in the heart of Metairie at 454 Dyno. THey have the latest version Mustang Dyno that can simulate load of street driving.

 

Talked to Steve tonight and he is game. We just have to all be ready to commit to this in a few weeks. This should be plenty of time for all of us to get our cars ready.

Tuning will take place in Metairie at 454 Dyno, located on Airline hwy and Transcontinental. Should have prices for the dyno services soon.

Although I no longer live in New Orleans. I did ask Freddie to drive my car if you guys tune at 454. This will give him some incentive to get my car done before then, right...

Once things get set up, and I know the status of my car, I can send a money order to you or Freddie to cover the tuning.

Charlie, I'll stay on top of Freddie and make sure your car is done before we set this tuning event up. Your car is in good hands. Steve will need a deposit a week before the tuning. I'll send out all the details soon. Are there any Rx-7 clubs where you are now ?? Take care buddy !

Steve's rates are $350 for his tuning services. We will be locking down a price for the Dyno services at 454 dyno as soon as we have a better idea on when this event will take place and how many people actually commit and send a deposit.

I am sure there are some clubs in the northern Virginia area, but I haven`t had a chance to look around yet. I am currently in Japan and I will return to the states on the 29th. I just left `Up Garage`, a used parts store, and I was disappointed this time. No cool stuff for the FD...

Thanks for staying on top of getting my car complete before you guys tune. I hope Freddie calls you in the event something needs to be purchased for my car. If so, please just purchase whatever he needs and I will pay you back.

We were turning a wrench on my car when Ted called to jack Freddy up on your car! He put your turbo on my old motor to mock up the system.I wish mine would have been done before all the running around town and online returns!

Any idea what what weekend this is going to happen? I was part of a tuning session set up in memphis, but that fell through. So New Orleans of St. Louis are my two best options right now.

 

Will Steve tune an FD with older Peter Farrell piggy back computer? If so I will come from Lake Charles.

Yes, Steve was using a PFS computer when I met him years ago. He can tune several other ECU's.

Jonathan, Mid Sept. to early Oct. is what we are realistically looking at. There are still several cars being worked on that are taking longer than expected.

We will have somewhere between 8-10 cars being tuned so hopefully we can work out a good price.

We'll contact you as soon as we can lock down a date.

My car is done. Just waiting on a few others now. If a few more are finished by the end of the month, Mid-September may be a possibility. That is of course depending on Steve's availability as well.

So, Mid-Sept................we'll see.

 

HAHAHAHA BITCH. I Sit in pain watching it go together. Actully my DP was being done at the same time. I put in a new Alpine system only to find that some amp wires came loose and I smoked em.
I wonder if Steve can hit everyone like Lupe? Charlie your ride is being done too and then New guy chris came from Mississippi yesterday. There must 4 or 5 FD being done.I need pics of that and the coil relocation.
