Special drift meet honoring Jorge Lopez R.I.P.

http://www.driftdraganddrive.com/for....php?f=5&t=664

For those that dont know. Jorge Lopez was tragically shot and Killed while driving his purple 180sx. Some of you may have seen him at the mineral wells drift events. Drift Mode is honoring his memory by having a meet on the spot where it all happened. Followed by a cruise.

I dont know if anyone is going to be in the Dallas area this weekend but if so we would really like you to show up for this.

Its a special drift meet just for Jorge.. Put on by Drift_Mode, his team..

I dont know the specifics because I am not putting this on. Any questions should be asked in the thread pasted above.

I just wanted to say thank you in advance for anyone that even considers showing up. I understand that the holidays would make for a long drive but it would be greatly appreciated by all..

Thanks
Aaren

im glad someone posted something. Jorge was a close and good friend of mine and i would like to say please come join us in honor of his memory. it would mean alot to all of us. and im sure the rest of DM would agree. this will be a cruise not a race. so if you want to go fast...please just not this night. we dont need anyone getting hurt. we are already grieving. i hope to see alot of people there. and if anyone wants to come to the funeral. it will be held this sunday. you can contact me on here and i will give you the details. R.I.P. Jorge lopez. we love you and will always remember you.

If you just want to show up because you realize the community has suffered a loss and would like to show support.. then that would be cool.. If your just wanting to come out to see rad cars and rev your engine.. dont..

But I think everyone is being invited to come.. Thats the feel on our site where the team members are posting..

Thanks

This shooting happened right in front of the building where I work. I noticed today the corner is covered in crosses, flowers and candles.

Sad...
