I found Maggie at a puppy shelter out here in Dayton. It's pretty crazy that these dogs are almost identical.

You don't have enough moisture in OK sometimes. When the cold front comes in, it pushes the moist air up, causing the water to freeze into snow.

If there isn't enough moisture, or if the air doesn't get push high enough, you just get rain.

Meterologists are invited to correct me or explain it better.
