Lightbulb RX Club of Houston Monthly Meet @ Prince's Hamburgers - July 9th 2013

Another month, another meeting. This month we move it back over to 59 (Southwest Freeway) for some burgers and other great stuff at Prince's.

Dinner will get underway sometime after 7, but you are welcome to get there early and stay late. With some luck maybe we will have a special guest or two at the event. Who knows maybe a racecar or two will show up at the meeting.

When: 7PM to ???
Where: 3899 Southwest Freeway. [Weslayan and 59]
Who: You and your Mazda loving friends!

We just had hamburgers at Chuck's place. All well, I need my monthly dosage of cholesterol.
Fudruckers is just west of them. Why can not we meet there for better burgers?

Sorry, the location wasn't my choice.

When I solicited suggestions for locations, this was one that was requested and made based on input from the few people who provided responses. (Ben or Anthony perhaps??)

At this stage of the game I'm hesitant to officially "change" the location in the announcements for obvious reasons.

HOWEVER, as the image below illustrates the two joints share a common border. So those that prefer one place over the other are welcome to their choices. Just park and choose your poison. Let the burger battle begin!!!

Do any 240's show up to these meets ever? Don't worry, not trying to bring the drift scene over, I just like seeing a nice rotary every now & then. Went to 7's Day back in 2007 in Japan with my bud Turbo II FC on here.

In 15 years I can think of maybe a dozen 240's have shown up. Typically new acquisitions by members or friends' rides. We welcome you out especially if you have love for the rotary just expect to get the typical friendly jabs from the rotary faithful.

I decided not to go because:
(1) I needed to cut grass today and tomorrow.
(2) Thursday I am having bunion surgery on my right foot.

Sure... we all know Travis has you chained up in his garage with a pile of new engine parts feeding you stale pizza under the door.

For those who do not care: I am recovering from a bunion operation.

My 5 toes still work, and the foot can still perceive pain.

Hydrocodone is great!
