RX-Club of Houston Meeting - April 13th 2010

Greetings all,

It's that time again, time for the April RX-Club of Houston meet.
This months meeting will be held at Gabby's BBQ just off 610 North Loop. This is a great location with plenty of parking so let's see what kind of turnout we can have.

As always we welcome all Mazdas and all rotary powered vehicles.

Date: Tuesday, April 13th 2010
Time: Meet in the parking lot as early as 6pm, head inside for dinner around 7pm
Location: Gabby's BBQ - 3101 N Shepherd Dr Houston, TX 77018

I'll be there, definitely in a rotary
@John: You really should be there in a rotary, you've got more rotaries than piston powered vehicles!

Yeah, but I wasted all my time fixing yours.
Actually, the FC I'm taking apart so I can get the turbo exhaust housing coated.
And we all know what's wrong with the FD.
So yeah, rotary-less tomorrow. Just call me Scott.

^^^ Hey Scott,

I took out a tire on the 8 today when I hit some **** in the road and tore out the inner sidewall.

Guess what??? 8's don't COME with a spare. They come with a tire repair kit which my 8 is missing. Wouldn't matter annyway with a golf ball sized hole in the tire I'm sure.

ANYWAY - It cost me $65 for a tow and $190 to have a new tire mounted only to discover my 8 has a bent rim and need a new one.

Anyhoo - I'm determined to come under rotary power. Even if it is under wobbly wheel rotary power.

Anyone have an extra RX8 wheel?

The FD isn't in any condition yet to drive on a public street yet. It needs a tune and a few things finished.

I hate life.

Scott
