I'm not busy, I just don't see the point in having a meeting if only 2-3 people are going to come out. I started a thread on the local forum nearly 2 weeks ago and have only gotten a couple of responses.
FWIW - Pearland isn't a central location and would pretty much exclude anyone trying to fight 288 or 45 South traffic. When L was going to football practice in Pearland it would take us nearly 2 hrs from the SW side of town to get to practice. Having a meeting in Pearland on a weekday is a terrible idea.

I no it isn't a central location but the Hooters meet in clear lake wasn't either but it turned out great. If everyone wants to we can push the meeting a little later because of the traffic.
Keith like we have said, the reason the last meeting went south is because it was on new years.
November meeting was great, Decembers was a blast like normal, just because the January meet was a bust doesn't mean that February's will be a bust also.
I was thinking Freebirds but we are there so much, just thinking of somewhere new.
We could do that Barry's Pizza place if anybody wants to.
You no me Keith I am not trying to start anything just want to have a good time will all mine and your friends

Just since we're having 2 identical discussions on the SAME INTERNET:
I'm gunna have to agree with keith about the location part and chuck on the attendance part.
Perland is a pretty bad location IMO, many 7 club members live on the north side and the north side meetings seem to be some of the strongest.
We've also tired to keep the meets inside the 6-10 loop.
There are a few reasons people showed up at the hooters on Nasa Rd 1.
1. It was a saturday, people didn't have school/work and there was less traffic
2. The objective was a cruise to Galvestion, it made sense to meet on the south side.
Now on attendance... I know I slep in till like 2pm on newyears day along with probably half the RX-7 club, it was also in the middle if the holidays so I'm sure people were out of town.
I don't think that people didn't show up for lack of interest in the RX-7 club.
Also to chuck: Just because we do freebirds/barrys pizza most of the time does not mean we have to change it, if it ain't broke, why are you trying to fix it?

DOH!! :P Just got a job at Freebird's, and i thought: "Hey, there's a meet coming up, what a coincidence." If it happens at Barry's its cool, seeing as it has been agreed upon at this point.
