Do you guys still do the big Austin meet? I only made it to one of those but it was a blast and even though I don't have one now it would be kind of nice to see that happen again.

drive far anymore ( well mainly people out of DFW),
Sometimes i see people from SA, Austin, & Houston come up to Dallas once on while, Plus the old group have got older with families and some moved away. Last gathering i went to was like in 2003. But it would be nice to have another event like those.

 

Thats why i am doing the BBQ for Sunday July 29th so we can at least get some of the old guys and recent guys to gather up, if they still live in dfw. Plus some of the rx8 and mazdaspeed are coming too.

 

I remember hearing about the "Rexs across Texas" meets, never had a chance to go one when they had them. I wish there was a BIG Texas meet, just once a year similar to DGRR, or Seven Stock. That, I would definitely travel for.

 

I would love this. Of course, if it were to happen it would probably be in or around Austin so you wouldn't have to travel far

 

I think I went in 2003 or 2004. We had people from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisianna and all parts of Texas drive to Austin.

I don't drive a 7 but I think it'd be cool to have one in the DFW area. I bet people from other states close by would drive to it.
