TX Progress in Houston

So here's my fd. 93 touring, silver with red interior. Had some front driver side damage. Air bag popped and driver window does not exist. Been sitting for 12 years. Seller told me it had 15k miles but I don't think so as the title states 17k so I'm guess it has 25k or so.

Here it is in my garage

Actually has a car phone

I wish I would have known carpets are so expensive. I wouldn't have cut it into 3 pieces

I cut it because rain had gotten on the drivers side due to the broken window and was pretty nasty. I wanted it out asap.

And still wondering where the spare goes...

I actually have the steering wheel off now along with the gauges. Still trying to figure out how to take out the whole dash. So far, the only thing that works is the sunroof and the high beam indicator on the gauge but a lot of connectors are disconnected (came that way) so still trying to figure everything out. If anyone has an idea of what parts I still need or what I need to do, I'd appreciate the help!

Yup, thats the place. Its been sitting for quite a while. Dunno bout the health problems but the seller seemed like he liked to party( had to try to get later hours in the day to meet). Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Just wish they didn't take anything apart. Figureing out the electricals has been a bit of a pain. The good news is, the only thing that works is the sunroof so far

And he got it for a steal too. But David if you want it done in a quick time frame and for a good price I would let Chuck take a look at it.

P.S. Supra meet tomorrow, let me know if you wanna come.

The last meeting didnt work out that well for meeting new people, everyone was trying to catch up with there friends without getting rained on to much. The next meeting should be better as long as the rain holds out.

Hope to meet you.

P.S. "vh_supra26" Got the Twins back on and working on some wiring issues, should try and start it up mid week.

Now if some of you guys could help me and chime in. Have two questions.
1. Is there way to get a lock made for the driver door so I don't have to get another key?
2. None of the electricals work except for the sunroof. I have checked all the fuses and they're all good. I'm not sure bout the main fuses off the battery but they aren't broken so I haven't tried replacing them yet. When I attempt to crank the motor, i hear a click and thats it. The cpu #2 and everything else on that bracket(cruise control , flasher and what not) was completely out of the car so I reconnected it hoping that it would solve the issue. It didn't. I also have one 3 prong white connector in that area that isn't connected and have no clue what its suppose to be connected to. I guess any help would be appreciated. Haven't and not going to put the heater core/ac/dash back in till i can get this electrical figured out. Its cramped down there as is!

Just take the lock to a locksmith and he can re-key it to match your existing key. No need for a new lock.

As far as electrical goes, I can't help other than to share that I have two items for sale in my FS thread that may be of use to you:

- Genuine Mazda Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual: $50 shipped ($51.80 w/PP fee)
- Genuine Mazda Wiring Diagram 93-95: $50 shipped ($51.80 w/PP fee)

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-parts-99/fs-stock-parts-pictures-included-shipped-costs-noted-819164/#post8966591

I did strip a silver FD with red interior down to the frame and sold it as a parts car a few years ago. If you get stuck, let me know and I can see what my memory still holds.

Didn't know they could do that. The car didn't come with a lock so thats why I have to get another one. Funny...I grew up in Lake Jackson... And Chuck lives in Freeport. Haven't been in LJ for 5 years though.
