What part of OK are you in? The Tulsa folks get together every week, and the OKC crowd is starting to get a few meets together. You should try to join in on these sometime.

Heck, us T-Towners have been making the weekly meet for over a year, at this same location. One week, the owner of pub picked up the tab for the whole group, cause he knew we had been there every week.
Funny thing, the pub is owned by the same family that owns the Mazda dealer...........

its got some rustifimacation of the bodification. the drivers front fender right along the door crease. the passengerside rocker. the rear fenders both of them. the top of the back bumper but its still together. the worst place is the left rear fenderwell. shes not mint. Everything that belongs on her is there but unfortunately rust decided to jump into the party. I do i have the steering column plastic i just didnt realize it. The ignition has a non mazda key stuck in it. someones was a moron i have the original key and an alternate ignition wired in. I replaced the starter today.. pretty interesting the starter is on top of the engine in this car. battery's dead she doesnt want to start needs a really big freaking battery my rx7s battery doesnt cut it. I poured oil into the engine and turned it over without plugs and spin spin spin. But dare you try with the plugs in compression wont let it happen. No price Linus is not for sale until he runs and is clean enough. Im selling it for a small grip some people may get pissed but im pretty sure these cars arent a dime a dozen and im umm whats the word.. going to be broke. the tail lights are perfect front grill good. ALL the little emblems and details are there. all the interior pieces are present the seats are a aged but together enough that if you know a good upolster the seat can be made like new. interior door panels perfect hood the list goes on. the only bad side is the rust and oxidization i spent a large portion of my day with rubbing compound futile but i was tempted to see what color it really was. 70s baby blue (like Linus' blanket) the color code says B8. im not looking it up right now. i have alot of yacking to do about the car but yeah im hungry... laters..
that's a pretty sweet RX2... someone was just telling me they would like to have an RX 2 today at work...
well I took my 83 to QT today and put 10 bucks worth of gas in it cause it was on empty and had sat for over a year like that... I was having a hard time starting it and it stalled several times on me before but after getting new gas in it today it seemed to run smoother and didn't stall and started easier. She's almost ready for the road. little bit at a time... I'm bringing it to the shop sometime next week to start getting it up to par. anyways that was just an update

Skankfist, when you have it in the shop, along with replacing the original fuel filter, add a second one right before the carb. Old fuel sitting in the fuel lines can cause crud to build up. Running it with this crud will let it break loose, and fill the carb with said crub. Changing an extra filter a few times is far easier, and usually cheaper, than a carb rebuild.
