Skankfist, when you have it in the shop, along with replacing the original fuel filter, add a second one right before the carb. Old fuel sitting in the fuel lines can cause crud to build up. Running it with this crud will let it break loose, and fill the carb with said crub. Changing an extra filter a few times is far easier, and usually cheaper, than a carb rebuild.

well about my car whole thing it is still taking me some time to get it running. Still i'm starting to hate my car but lately i have seen a bunch of S4 Rx7s there is one at a dealership another one that a lady drives and another that doesn't belong to anyone it just sits there with two flat tires. Anyways last Saturday i was driving down NW 39th street aka route 66 and i saw like 25 miatas drive down the road in a line i actually thought one was kinda goofy looking because it had black tires yellow body and red racing strips down the middle of it but it could of been pretty fast i don't know really.

Ok i take that back i got it half way running today i changed the battery and it took it a alittle bit to start up but i'm still having that stupid same problem i am having it isn't the part about having it running it is the part about me trying to get it started.

well i took the rx8 to the scca autox event and i didnt run a good time untill my last run i guess that's what i get for running all season tires with tcs off ahahaha i guess i didnt do to bad for a first time pushing the car i was only of by 4 secs comparing to an rx8 that had racing slicks.
DrifterX Which one was you? We were there for awhile. Well i finally got a job looks like we will be moving to Austin TX at the beggining of april but I plan on coming up for the Rotary BBQ.

i'm the one with the black rims, oh does anyone here play battle field 2 and has special forces? if so i need a favor well let me know and about the scca events i dont like there rules they say as long as the tire has some tipe of grove it dosent matter if its slicks i find that rule lame if your in the bs class.

I somehow stumbled upon this thread. I am in Tulsa and got me an 89 GXL 7. If anyone wants to meet up and try to start a cruise night I would be willing to try and organize it.
