i got headlights and pulled out the core support so the hood shuts perfectly now. now i just need a hood scoop (which I can't find ANYWHERE) and a front bumper. Plans for it are deep dish rims...prolly 5 spoke...after I find out exactly how wide and what offset i can get for biggest lip, maybe leaving it silver, or painting it white, black, or gunmetal. Don't know enough about the motor or modding options to know what i'm gonna do with it.
yea but maybe u didn't know...apparently it flew off one day while he was driving so it split through the center and a corner is missing. wouldn't happen to know exactly where to get one or who has one do u?

Edit: What rims did he sell you with it, the stock gtu rims?

Yea Im going to take it to either Gotham Racing or Rotary Performance to check the compression and to have the tune check also (my brother was having to jump start it to get it started once a week I told to go get a battery for it but he said he would rather wait). I was going to take it to Rotary Performance but they wanted me to leave it with them a couple days, so I may just go up to Gotham Racing and have it done.
yessir, gtu rims. i looked around for deep dish rims and they were all at $2000 or more!!
i'll prolly get another tII hood since that one is horribly dented.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/ is a pretty good place to get rims. I got mine from there, no trouble, very helpful customer service, didnt have the ones i wanted so they gave me more expensive ones at the same price. Very fast shipping also
Used to have a BBQ in OK in the summer then a BBQ in TX in the fall. The core organizer group for those meets kinda dissolved into the population. One is in Jamaica, one is in Louisiana, another is moving to the west coast soon, and the last is out of the rotary community entirely. There are a few of us OK people left trying to keep a yearly BBQ going. We'd gladly help any way we can if somebody in TX would take charge and plan a BBQ. Rotary Rendezvous was created just for the TX and OK BBQs. It'd be nice to see both meets back again. The two past TX BBQs were held in Arlington, but pretty much anywhere in the DFW area would be accessible by most of the South. We've been discussing trying MO for a meet in the future. Maybe a bit far for TX folks though.
