i really wanted to say hi to everyone, though. i really miss cars, though. i've been thinking a lot about owning another rx7, but i just don't make the funds.
for the past few months i've been working at a motorcycle shop in east flatbush, brooklyn doing all the parts receiving and shipping. i'm hoping to get another job somewhere else soon, but i'm not sure where.
i'm not sure if this thread will be deleted before any of my dfw friends see it, but i wanted to check in and say hi.

take care everyone!

casio (i'd rather this be deleted than moved to the forum lounge!)

Casio! How's it going.

You know you and Eric are the first two people I met from the forum. I remember that day putting the coilovers on in Eric's garage!

ah yes, the day with the coilovers. how've you been lately? how's the car these days? progress??

what cbr parts do you need? and what year? any chance you could get me part numbers? i could see what i could do.

how is everyone else these days? chris g? how's the first gen flamethrower? the misses? how's ray? still have the 3rd gen? i remember how much the dfw crowd had changed when i caught up with everyone back in late last year after my car was down some 7 months.

NYC life is slow right now. well, seems that way everyday, but at the same time i'm busy lookin to get another job and move into another place september 1st; not sure where yet, though! i don't have many friends out here, but a good friend of mine is moving out here in a few days or so. that will be great. how's texas life? you married yet, eric? knocked up any girls? put a turbo on the 1st gen yet?

well take care, guys. much love from yankeeville. and yea, its crowded.

Hey Casio! I'm still around barely. Been working on school from January til last week. Started a new job this week and will be doing this fulltime for a while. Sold the RX-7 last December and have been driving a 240sx hatch since. It has just a tad bit less power than the ole FD, but it gets good gasmileage.

What are the gas prices like up there? What is that NYC life like? Everything you expected or hoped for?

How you doing buddy? It has been too long. I think the last time was when we hit the movie? The funniest time I can think of with you is at Eric's party and the girl trying to make you give it up
I sure miss ya bud. Hopefully at least getting back to visit is in the plans? If so we have to get together bro.

Oh yes there were pictures that Eric and I were asked to cease and desist on making them available online The funniest to me was Casio sitting on the bed with his hand over his face and the rather unclothed girl trying to attack him I think that was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!

hey you skinny punk! Sheri and I moved out to Lake Worth. I'm still sticking to my vow to not drive the RX on the street when gas costs more than $1.50 a gallon. (very seriously thinking of sellin that car now).

Come back for a visit, and you can stay with us. we might even find a local animal to kill and feed you. I'll make sure that it's a baby whateveritis.

midtown, wow, you're lucky. i'm stuck in east flatbush 5 days a week. i live close to queens; greenpoint, brooklyn.
haha, $1.50/gallon? man, what's it at there now? it's fluctuated here. still at least upper $2 range. supposedly it's supposed to make another jump down there; possibly $4-5/gallon. we'll see. transporatation is $76/month for me, but it sucks.
miss you guys!
