LC3, it was dark out, but man your car looked good ...

XFactor, not in the club yet. I got my car a month ago and it's been in my garage getting maintenence work done since then. I'm hoping to be done with it all pretty soon and then I'll join up. Maybe I'll hit up the August meeting.

Im getting the seats and the carpet redone at a place off of burnet road.. Cant think if the name right now.. All the plastic interior parts are getting coated in carbon fiber by a company in colorado..I hope to be done by middle of aug..

 

SO I was comming home from after school and I spotted a red third gen comming from the Des Allemands/Houma area. I saw it at the light in Paradis by Highway 306. It looked mighty clean. Whoever it was might have seen me in a white car pointing going oooo a third gen. But anyways....whoever it was, it sure looked like they just cleaned it, pr maybe it's been that long since I have seen a 3rd gen. lol

 

Did it have a mesh looking rim with no front lip? If so Marshall and I saw it at the autox meet sunday. We couldn't find the guy who owned it to talk to him, but it looked like it needed some tlc.

O BTW when I say tlc I just mean a front lip, a wax and the rims refinished. Other then that it is in nice shape.

I couldn't really see the wheels or the front lip, but the car looked really clean from what I saw.

 

hey josh the one with mesh wheels is me and the car is very papmered i wash it like 3 times a week just been busy and it made a run through the rain as i am presently living in baton rouge. and it has the r1 lip if u were wondering but next time we have a meet or u see it i will look immaculate i promise

 

as for the red fd originally posted about i have also seen it at a gas station while i was working in NO one day. If it is stock it is a girl that drives it looks to be around 25 or sumthin not the type to be hopping around on forums or tuning it. Thats the only red one i know of other than mine and edwards.

 

My father (2hotrods on this board) works in Houma, it may have been him. Was this the car?

 

Well if I would have been able to see it while it was sitting still, I am sure I would be able to tell you if it was either one of those. We were moving and so were they. I wish I was on my bike so I could have u-turned and caught up with them.

 

O yeah forgot it was rainging and nasty that day. Maybe that is why it just looked like it needed a little bath. I swore the red one at autox didn't have a lip, but them I was looking for the owner so much so I could talk to him that I guess I forgot to keep details of your ride man. Sorry. I didn't mean to offend if that is what I did.

I can account for another 93 R1 VR running around Metairie, in the vicinity of severn/west metairie. Stock rims though. I occasionally see another VR in the area, but never when i was driving mine.

9-20-06 I spotted a clean 3rd gen going down Ave K. in plano. I was going the opp direction by the time I could turn around it turned down park and was gone. It belong to anyone here?

Damn, haven't heard from Dyana in about forever and a day... maybe it's because I moved and barely grace the South forum with Eric and Rich out of the picture....

 

It was around 3:30pm I was coming southbound on mcdonald st. in downtown mckinney towards the county courthouse, when in the oncoming traffic a silver fd was in the turn lane to turn west bound down Virginia. It was silver, with polished rims, knightsport carbon fiber hood, r1 rear spoiler, what looked like a 99' spec front lip, and a nice FMIC that looked just like the one I had which was a Greddy one. I was passing whoever it was in a dark grey 02' honda civic ex. I do remember we both stared at each other as I passed. Who ever it was, super clean! makes me miss my old one soooo bad. Next time you're in Mckinney stop at the courthouse, we'll talk, and let me see the FD and i'm sure you wouldn't be hassled by any local sheriff deputies

 

yeah there are a couple of nice FD's here in mckinney, there is a sick red one i see every once in a while.

Man, when i was on McKinney I never seen another 7. my lonley FB was.......

Im in plano now with a red FC, I come to mckinney every now and then so maybe ill see one of you guys.
