You sure the one you are talking about is a black FD and not red FD with 99 wheels. I can only think of a few reasons an FD owner in NOLA wouldn't want other rotary folks looking under their hood.
Do you know where or how this person can be contacted?
Jack
The red one with 99 spec rims is edward,I know him too.
I just don't like telling people everything that someone else has,i'm not trying to be a dick.i know alot of people and some of them don't wont anyone to know what they have unless they show or tell them themselves.I really don't care myself i like everyone to know what i have(its not much),but i have to respect others.
I'm not big at all with RX-7 community,i just know people.

I've met the guy with the black fd...real cool guy his name is brandon. He just bought the car like two weeks ago. He has big plans for it and has a love for rotaries just like everyone else on this forum.
I'd be VERY interested if the guy has an M2 SMIC, M2 Intake box, Greddy elbow, Cusco strut bar, GReddy oil cap, Autometer boost gauge, and various internal molding. Basically everything of value that you see in this picture was stolen off my FD following Katrina:

If any of my **** is under this guys hood, then we need to talk.

Edward,
Don't be a stranger, we had big meet on April 30 down in Houma. BBQ and good long cruise with 9 FD's plus other cars. Watch posts in this section for upcoming meets.

Lenard - What a bunch of lazy *** thieves, they left the AST and pullies.

I totally understand not wanting to throw out a list of all your mods. to the public. No telling who's out there looking to steal parts. However, I have ZERO respect for people who steal **** and are afraid to come around the rest of the Rx7 guys. Not saying that this cat has ANYTHING to do with stolen parts in the area. I'm sure he would be a great addition to the club and look fwd to having him join us for future events.
But to those who are involved, they better just stay the **** away.

I know it is not edward. I live right around the block from him and have known him since we were 10. He is a real stand up guy and seen his fd on many ocasions. He doesn't have those parts. We talked about it a few weeks ago. I had told him about the meet, but he had work and couldn't come.
I went by the place we were talking about at the meet Jack. I snooped around and talked to people. There is a young guy working there that use to work at DCP, but that is all I really found out.

Wasn't me! Maybe Marshall, but I doubt it. I talk to Marshall on almost a daily basis and he didn't tell me anything about it.
*Side note* Does anyone know a shop that they TRUST around N.O. that they feel is capable enough to change a DP w/o breaking anything. I tried myself, but really afriad to break a stud. I would love to bring it to Houma, but I can't skate out of work enough for that unless you Houma guys could def do it in one day on like a Friday or something.
thanks,
-josh

Yeah I wanted to go to that. I was so excited about going but I couldn't get off of work in time plus my car wouldn't have been to pretty to look at since like a week before the meet I was involved in a hit and run. (Yes again except this time I was actually in my car when it happened...maroonish 06 Hyndai hit it). It knocked my alignment out and messed up my fender and broke my headlight cover...lol...when is that ever not broken on these cars. I've been dealing my my insurance company as well as the other company (because we actually were able to track it down because of a good citizen who chased down the car for the license plate). My car is finally in the body shop getting good as new now. Hopefully I will be able to make it to the next meet and meet all the fellow rotory lovers.
