New 7 in the family!
I told myself no more cars till your done with the ones you allready have (not running ), I did not listen and bought a 1985 GSL-SE from the second owner, been siting in garage for 3 years. The car is very clean inside and outside, it needs a paint job but no rust or dents anywhere. He told me that it was smoking real bad and he did not wanted to start it,I loaded the beauty on my dolly and headed to the shop, put a hot battery and it started quick.......holly smoke! he was'nt joking about the smoke
Anyways, some pictures ...enjoy!

This one actualy runs and it looks like the smoke is going away, 3 years of sitting in the garage and PO try to star the car few times and flooded (can smell fuel in oil) the motor will make some smoke.Hopefully this one is not another money pit LOL.

Bet it's Tornado Silver. I forget the actual paint code.
I have one in the garage that looks almost identical to yours:

There's a paint shop not too far ...so I may bring the car and see what they got.

Thank You! It is a nice car,I cant believe that it was on craighlist for about two weeks! When I first saw the ad It was like a week old and didnt care for the car with engine problems so another week goes by and its still there, call the owner to go look at it and done deal!He was asking 1300.00 but lets just say that I made him a resonable offer and turn out to be OK.

Wao! they do look indentical After some searching I found that in 84 they had code K8 (Tornado Silver)and in 85 was replaced with code V9 (custom Siver Metalic),I'm leaning more towards code V9 because the color seems to be lighter and changes with the sun light.

You can look at color chips an codes online at Autocolor Library.
Next thing to tackle is all the burgundy bits in the interior that have turned brown.
SEM makes a burgundy/maroon vinyl paint that's reasonably close. The "15063-Burgundy" is what I got. Pretty much all other burgundy/maroons I found were too red.

You are probably correct. I didn't realize that Mazda had changed the colors up again in '85.

Yer welcome.
I had to find the interior paint because 1) my SE has the burgundy-turned-brown interior bits, and 2) my '90 GXL has a burgundy interior - and burgundy interior bits for an FC are hard to find. Solution: paint!
My '79 has a black interior, which makes things a lot easier...
