Hi, just wondering, what kind of engine does your RX7 have?

A guy from craigslist with an RX7 said that he had replaced the timing chain on his car. On a hunch I went ahead and emailed him he replied back. Read bottom up; my text is in pink! Btw, I did not reply back.

I guess they look at the 4 plugs and yep a 4 cyl. My neighbor bought a mazda truck (ranger same thing)and told me that he had a V-8 in it ,I went and looked and it was a 4 boinger with 8 plugs....when I told him he had a 4 cyl. he wasn't very happy You figure they will know because of the power

People are funny
Though I thought about provoking something with the person that said he replaced the timing chain, he may have replaced something he thought was a timing chain, but I figured he was probably just lying, I thought better of it. All it would be is me trying to tell him he's a liar and him putting me on his spam list :P

The guy that sold me his 88 GTU said that he could never get the car to work and that he did not know why this "4 cylinder" was so hard to work on. Well i unflooded the engine and told him how the engine works and now he regrets selling it to me lol.
