Got a notice in the mail that Nascar.com was filming a spot on my street (State St. in Downtown Dallas) tomorrow.

Don't know the specifics but if there are any Nascar fans or people trying to get their 15 mins of fame...might want to head down!!

 

they filmed an episode of Wildfire at the airport i'm working at.

I remember as a kid when it was still "stock car" racing, I grew up watching Petty, Waltrip, etc. race stock cars and even if it was in a circle and sorta' boring, I dug it because I saw those cars ont he road every day. Now they have the crazy **** stuff they do now, plus all the drama and hype now is just ridiculous. They try to play it out like there are rivalries and drama and blah blah blah between the racers and teams and ughhhh....makes me sick really miss the days when things were simpler, like when they actually had writers and actors on tv shows, and when they raced "stock cars" etc......maybe I'm just getting crotchity in my old age

 

So how was the shoot?

 

Taking advice on whether or not NASCAR is a sport from people that have never driven a race car, let alone a 3,000 pound stock car on a 3/8 oval, is always a good idea.

 

NASCAR ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! everything else is just... ok

 

not sure Dazy...I was in our office in Sherman so never saw the shoot.
