My Enclosed Trailer was stolen...

Hey everyone,

Yeah, I know... if it isnt one thing, its another.

It was taken sometime last night. From my neighboring property. We own two houses on the same corner lot and I didnt have the trailer parked in front of my house but the other one. It was a fenced in area as well with only one way in and out. Neighbors didnt hear anything.

Please be on the look out for it.

2004 WHITE PACE AMERICAN
20 FOOT ENCLOSED TRAILER

VIN: 47ZWB20244X028824

Licence #: 62YGZM

Its got some heavier damage on the front drivers side of the trailer.

There are some heavy scrapes on the back passenger side of the trailer as well. Its missing a light fixture there.

The rear upper 3pc light is missing the two right lights on the rear of the trailer as well. Please look at the pictures carefully and make note of the recognizable damages.

The contents:
10x20 ft White canopy
Dark Blue electric 2wheeled scooter
15 hub cap spinners
Boxed kit of hand tools
One RE Amemiya Passenger side mirror in a box, black in color
4 yellow ratcheting straps with the strap lengths marked into each strap
There is an 8 ft length of Etrack attached to the front wall mid way up
2 10 ft lenths of ETrack that were on the floor of the trailer. (unmounted)

Thats all I can think of. Please look out for it. Its a pretty big box, so might be hard to hide.

Thanks everyone

Sounds like its time to move or install sentry guns: pellet, paint ball, or.... hollow points (and give your neighbors little beacons that the gun recognizes and won't shoot at)

Where is the vin located on an enclosed trailer? I'm sure if you go to a few track events you will see someone with it. Sorry for your loss. Can you insure a enclosed trailer?

Anthony

Because honda's are more of a universal car that thieves can sell parts faster and it's harder to trace.

I live in a great neighborhood with great neighbors that live in expensive homes. Only problem is that there is a lot of traffic going past. With construction workers and lawn people going by everyday, stuff like trailers get noticed.

TRAILER RECOVERED!

So, the officer in Roanoke told me that two guys were looking to purchase the trailer for their company and found this trailer in an ad somewhere. (I dunno where) The ad was listed for a "too good to be true" price of 2500 without a title. So, feeling something sketchy, they brought a police officer along. Of course, when they showed up to view the trailer, the seller was no where to be found. VIN check and my 2007 report shows up and I get a phone call. OMG NO WAY?! was my response.

MUCH Thanks to the two kind and responsible gentlemen whomever and where every you are for being vigilant citizens and moral people.

It looks like whoever had the trailer after me was a racer. I found some race stickers on the trailer and the racer took care of the trailer as if he paid for it. (I got it back with a few upgrades. Interior lights, circuit box, non slip floors etc). Or perhaps the racer was the one that stole it, who knows. But because the racer took care of it, its my belief that the racer had it stolen from him. Hence, the sale of it where the sellers ditched it when cops were involved.

In the end, I got my trailer back! Thanks also to the local police department for notifying me and risking their lives day in and day out for us.

Moral of story, thieves will take anything if they want it bad enough. All the security measures you can take will only slow them down, a little. Be vigilant of your own first and others second. And always be locked and loaded with a few extra magazines at the ready. lol
