Ideas for a Houston RX-7 cruise???!!!

I think it would be cool to get some folks together for a cruise... Let's start generating ideas...

My idea would be to plan far enough ahead and get a hard list of folks going.

Cruise to the hill country.

Leave Houston area on a Saturday and take cool backroads.

Hit cool areas like Lukenback, New Braunfels, Lake Travis...whatever...

Stop to eat at cool places along the way.

Stay the night at a designated Motel that will accomodate us.. This way we can all hang out, talk ****, eat, drink, tell lies and bench race to all hours of the night...

Get breakfast in the morning and head back to H-town.

Ideas??? What do you folks think??

All the above sounds great...maybe start small at first though? Meet for lunch, cruise somewhere to see cool sites, cruise to get dinner and then call it a night afterwards?

Not 610 Do the Beltway

At 3-4AM on Beltway 8 on Sunday's you can roll thru there above 150, and as long as you go thru the EZ tag at HIGH speed it is free.

just got back from going to Brazosbend State park.... that would be a cool short cruise for us.... plenty of parking area to hang out, BBQ, whatever. Also lots of long country roads out there to fart around on...

An RX-8 is perfectly fine. The rotary brings us together, but I'd be ok with piston guys showing up too. It's all good fun.

Don't think any dates have been set yet, everythings still up in the air.

Make sure you bring CASH. It's 20 for a day pass or 30 for a weekend pass per person. Credit cards and checks not accepted.
