TX Houston: Rotary Friendly Machine Shop?

Hi all. I need to find a machine shop in the Houston area that knows what a rotor is.

I have a set of previously 3mm-ed machined/converted 13b-rew rotors that are a little tight. Basically I need the apex seal grooves cleaned up and clearanced just a little bit, probably just about 0.0005 taken-off each side of the slot.

Recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I thought about that. In fact, I started in on it with a steel straight edge and some 1000 grit, but it's a little too much metal that needs to be removed...plus, they're tight in the middle and looser on the ends.

I'm putting in a set of NRS 3mm 2-piece ceramics, so I want to make sure that they're straight. It would suck to break them and ruin a good set of irons and a brand new 62-1 BB Turbonetics because I was too lazy to get the rotor slots properly clearanced and cleaned-up.

edit: I should probably add that the rotors are already coated too, so I'm looking for an experienced shop that I can trust to not drop the seals and chip them, not ruin the face and side coatings, AND clearance the slots correctly. A tall order.

Are you running 2mm or 3mm seals on your monster?

Seriously, no one knows a good shop?

The 4th largest city in the United States doesn't have a competent machine shop that someone knows about that can clearance rotor slots?
