Well it is just over 1 Month to go, time to start preparing your cars for the event.

For everyone else I am running out of time to get my deposit in on time, I just cant risk putting all that money down and have people that say they are coming not show up, so I have been discussing with the owner about each person paying for there own Dyno runs, but this is going to cost more.. SO

After that I will have to increase the price to cover what Pro Technik will want. I still need to talk agian with the owner to get the new price iron'ed out but it will be in the $67-$70 range

Hi All

Well i am having to go to see Sam about the dyno day, we have plenty, I MEAN PLENTY of people that are interested and I truly believe that everyone will show up. But the problem is that i need all of the money for the dyno day before the dyno starts. ( IE when I get there around 9AM i have to pay him the $1400 for the day) So i am going to try and talk him into letting each of you pay for your runs. The people that have all ready paid will have there runs payed for just like before.

The problem is not everyone will be at the dyno first thing, so i will not have the money for the dyno. This is putting me in a hard place, I truly don't have the money to pay for people that may or may not show up for there dyno runs.

This is a S.O.S to save the dyno day, if i cant work something out tomorrow with him then i will be forced to cancel the dyno day, or try and move it somewhere that will let everyone pay for there own pulls. One of the real reasons that i wanted to have the event there is because i know alot of people love there cars and don't want anyone operating there cars at full out, you know just about ever inch of your car and know when something is wrong, so if you are operating your car when you are doing your pulls then there is a better chance nothing will go wrong.

On the worst case that i cant get him to let everyone pay for there own runs, I will be looking for another place that can accommodate us in this short notice.

This problem has been created because of the people that haven't payed for there runs all ready.


I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone that has payed and hopefully I will not let you guys down.

Lost a few people

Well I have bad news for everyone, due to the lack of payments, we lost the 20th. They could not hold the day any longer without the 500 dollar deposit, witch I had just that amount of money to pay, but I would have lost that money if the day didn't follow thru. I would have had some very un-happy people if i would have lost there money.

SO I have a few options now

1) Find another place for the 20th that will let each person pay for there dyno pulls. ( I will need everyones help finding a new place quickly )

2) We can push the day back and look for a new place.

3) Cancel everything and try later, this would be refunding the people that have payed.

Anyone have a better idea??????????

FWIW - if we do refunds, the club will lose the PayPal service charges. However refunds can be done via check or cash or even paypal if you have an account.

I'll make some calls tomorrow to some shops, see what we can secure with the 9-10 people we have so far. Anyone else who wants to join can pay any additional costs.

Can we get the dyno for half a day somewhere?

Typically how much would this event cost per individual at a typical place with a dyno with no price "breaks"?

I've never priced one before.

Also - I'd prefer it be a place that allows us to run our own cars.
