Houston/area contacts...

We need a list of Houston area members so that we can keep tabs on who's accounted for and okay.

All I really know of is Sir Rupert Hobo

Because i am a Vol firefighter and have a brand new house rated @ 135 mph winds

I put the hurricane clips on myself 1000+

We dont have a big problem with flooding so i will keep a eye on the water level
The roads are clear and can be in Angelton in less than 20 mins

But we are suppost to get appox 100-130 mph winds

You know me.... I'm in SW Houston (Meyerland)

The 88 convertible is in my storage bldg down the way and the 91 Coupe is out front with the car cover strapped down tight. The Kia Sportage is out front poised and ready to go!

We are staying to help the old ppls in my neighborhood who can't get out and to take care of our animals 3 dogs (plus the neighbors dog that makes 4) 6 cats, 2 sugar gliders and 2 rats. No way we could leave all those lil critters behind. If the storm continues to trend just east of galveston bay we are going to be fine. I'll post some "before" pics of the house tomorrow morning.

I will give you a ring when we come out on the other side!!! Thanks for stepping up as the point of contact.

Chucky, if you want to bring the FD here it will be a little safer.. at least it won't be in the storm surge area.. let me know.. you have most of tomorrow to knock it out.

We aren't going anywhere!

Be safe!

Good luck guys. Be safe. Im up in Shreveport/Bossier Louisiana which is going to be on the east side of the storm (where all the Tornados popup) and they are saying its going to stall out up here and sit in the tri-state area for a couple days. My FC is out front, though I will probable be moving it into the back yard and covering it tonight.

Safe and sound in San Antonio area. We had to leave 4 of my other 7's at the house. I was able to tow my 10th AE with me here. I was also able to tow my 90 Vert to higher ground. The other 3 RX-7's are had to remain in a flood zone. Hope we come back to "something".
