ALB. Track rental

Alright guys so one of Philip's new co-workers has a Lancer Evo and he wanted to get some of the 7 guys together to rent the Sandia Motor Sport track. It cost 150 per hour, but if we can get enough guys we can drive that down considerably (say 30 dollars per hour) We are limited to around five guys so post if you are interested. This is the ENTIRE track to ourselves for a couple of hours. We should be able to quite a few laps.

What do you guys think??

Just kidding man, I love you. I'd love to, but the car won't be broken in by then.

I can't drop cash on the track till I get my cooling system and boost issues under control. I'm bummed too, I'd love to see how a LanEvo compares.

Yeah Simon I thought you would be in for sure

It should be fun. Right now actually we almost have enough. It will be me, Philip, Philip's friend, Simon, so we need one more person.

Sweet dude I can't wait. Let me know enough in advance so that I can plan something out especially if I'm gonna have to take off work.

Hmmm I don't have a clue, but I can ask someone about that and get back to you.

Oh and Candy we don't have a date set yet, but it will be in the fairly near future.

break-in? what's that??

ahhh....so you're one of THOSE guys....

Just giving you a hard time - usually I just give the motor increasing low boost over a few hundred miles and then tune/rip on it. Seems to work well as long as everything else is also working well

Back to the thread though - that sounds like a cool idea and cheap track time.....any idea when??

As far as doing laps do you think they'd let us all go at the same time if we took off in 20 to 30 sec intervals to give each other space? Eh, just an idea...

Yellow huh!!! I love yellow FDs! The only other yellow one I've ever seen in person was a 600hp FD that eventually got toasted and was going to get sold on ebay or an LS1 conversion

It seems like the concensus is to wait until our cars are ready. Probably a good idea. I would still like to do something before the weather gets cold. I'll think about it and post another thread.
