Help with dealing with body shop and insurance

So my car was rear ended about a month ago. I drop it off at the dealer and 2 weeks later I went and picked it up. When I got the car back there were gaps all over the rear of the car; the body panel didn't line up right. The deal told me that was the best they could do and insurance won't do anything about it. However, I was told by friends that if my car couldn't be completely repair that insurance own me another car or something like that???

if your not satisfied with the work, call the insurance company first, if they say nothing, call your insurance company to complain about the other insurance, company, and then finally, get a lawyer if all else fails

File suit in small claims court against the driver that hit you (cost about $75 and no attorney needed). Get estimate to properly repair vehicle and sue for that amount (hint, get estimate from very expensive place, or get 3 estimates and use the highest one and throw the other 2 away). His insurance company defends him as he is the insured. Add diminished value to your suit as well. Get a diminished value appraisal (http://www.diminishedvalueoftexas.com). The insurance company will call and try and settle before the court date, or you can take it to trial if you want. Expect to settle for maybe 50% of what you sue for.

You will waste your money on attorney fees. The amount in dispute does not justify the cost, that is what small claims court is for. The insurance company and dealer aren't going to do crap for you.

I think that is a number that you bullshit in order to up the entire amount since you will likely settle for half anyway.

And go here: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ei...78012663836705
