Well I had to work on my car up at my job until 730 tracking down my brand new coolant leak! Yay I'm so excited! Well actually I am because I thought it was coming out from between the housing and front plate, but was instead coming from the water pump housing where it meets the block. So....poo. I don't feel like risking anything happening till I get it fixed. Will see you guys next month. Also we need more people out at cars and coffee next month... I know it's early but I think it's worth it.

Yea I've had the fc up on jack stands for the past couple of weeks with the exhaust in many pieces.

I was one of the "new" folks out their. Was impressed with how clean the two FC's where that did show up. Maybe more next month. Hell if all goes well i'll drive one out next month.

Heck, several people <cough>EJ<cough> haven't brought out a '7 in months. AJ kept bringing a frickin' Miata until last month. At least it was a Mazda...

 

I was the other "new" guy with the black T2. It was good to hang out with you guys and I'll try to make it to the next one.

I forgot all about it....I need the meet threads posted more than a few day's prior to a meet. you know, to build up the excitement.

I finally have my car registered and inspected and completely forgot the date. I was up in Denton at a crawfish boil all day Saturday. See you guys next month....the 4th, right?

 

Why don't we have a single thread that is titled something like "DFW Monthly Meet" ? So that it will be easier to check.

Just a suggestion.

 

Plan to make the next one. Finally got the car started last weekend, just got to but everything back together. Just sitting in the garage the oil cooler upgrade made a BIG difference in temps.

We don't want a hideous beast of a thread like the West Forum has. All crazy long and going off in a ton of different directions and oh, yeah, we've got a meet coming up, on page 223.

Nope, I usually wait for the Sonnen Von Ware to post it first and then I'll stick it to the top with the standard green arrow to draw attention to it. Because of a downed and then hard formatted PC, I missed a lot of action this past month on this website and missed this thread completely.

I'm back in the saddle now, though, so it won't happen again. Missing a thread that is...the meets are always rough to get to since my wife, family and friends all ignore my repeated requests to not plan dinners or parties on the first Saturday of the month....consistently.
