If your rx7 isn't done, I'm not coming. JK. I may shoot out there around 8.

prrex4ever 05-03-11 07:58 PM

I'm going to miss this one. Car is on jack stands and in many pieces.:)

RedBaronII 05-03-11 08:40 PM

Well, if Gilbert can't make it, so will I.

Spectrum24x 05-04-11 12:04 AM

I'll be there for once!

rider2122 05-04-11 12:22 AM

I'll be there, but only as a spectator,

Looking forward to seeing some RX's again. Been too long sense I've heard a good one up close. Gotta love that sound.

let me know if you need help. And take LOTs of pics.

I started mine up today for the first time in months. Started fine. This started loosing coolant at a massive rate from behind the rear turbo:(. But hey it started fine and idled fine. so I will take what I can get.

Frankenrex 05-04-11 10:03 PM

I should be there. Beware, I'm bringing my piston power this time, though.

HOZZMANRX7 05-05-11 01:15 AM

Unfortunately I won't be there. I arrived back to Cali this evening. :)

:lol::icon_tup:

I'll be at Cars and Coffee Saturday morning. We had a good display of RX-13's last month. The more the merrier. Starts at 8:00 a.m.

See you there, hopefully. :)

Inconsiderate 05-05-11 05:08 PM

It seems that early summer = cars on jackstands.

Mine is also getting worked on as well, so I will not be going. Plus finals are next week for me. BTW please check out my other post.

10thaniv 05-05-11 05:39 PM

I might jump to the dark side and buy a RX8, so I can go to club meets where members show up. Come on people, fix your 7's.

LOL, a total of 4 cars are down.
Long live the curse of the RX13!!!!

Andre The Giant 05-05-11 06:30 PM

Lol thanks for the pic EJay that still has me cracking up. I should be there as long as the nasty clunk noise goes away when I put the stock front swaybar back on. I broke my new (to me) modular Racing Beat front bar on the mountain somewhere. Glad it happened at the end of the trip though. I was definitely putting the car through alot of abuse :)
Andrew

found the leak-TB to rats nest. I will order a new hose, but i doubt it will get here in time. Not too sure I want to risk using a hose (found a "spare" from somewhere) that is splitting on the ends.

Thanks for letting me ride with you.

I think this photo turned out pretty good considering it was from a cheap camera and hanging out of a window.

A little photoshop would make it even better.

I believe, in most cases it's operator related issues which curse the "RX7". I see so many halfass modifications on "RX13's" that cause problems. Do your research and do it right the first time.

prrex4ever 05-05-11 08:31 PM

Thanks for the offer, I plan to do a thread on it soon with lots of pics. Hope that you enjoyed DGRR and good to see that you got your car started.:icon_tup:

Yeap, mine was running great but all those parts piled up in my garage were getting to me. I knew that it was going to be down for a while with the little time that I have available to work on it. Hopefully she be running in a couple of weekends if I get all the parts I ordered.:)

I'll try to remember to dig it out of the storage bin.

EJayCe996 05-07-11 04:59 PM

Hrm, I might miss the meet tonight. Some friends in Fort Worth require some of my equipment and I reckon by the time I'd make it back out to Irving it'd probably be a rolling "hi!bye!" to be on time out to Dallas for my extended family's birthday.
