I had the most fun I've ever had driving to work on the ice coverd roads. Mine looked like yours too. I thought I'd be smart and put towels over the windows the nighty before so I wouldn't have to scrape ice the next morning. Bad move. Damn towels froze to the windows. Took me 30 minets to get them off. On top of that, my doors froze shut. I was over an hour late but whatchagonnado.

Here's how it looks in my neck of the woods, the rain has started coming down a little harder now. By the time I head to work in about 2 hours, should be interesting....
The ice isn't bad, just people aren't thinking when driving. I'd say this stuff isn't too common for San Antonio, I was having fun though.

The ice ON my car wasn't the bad part, its the 3-4" of ice that surrounded my car that made it a fun day today. Sad that the FD is all I have to drive at the moment.

The people who drive 5mph are almost as bad as the ones driving 45 :P Nothing like a good slide backwards down an icy hill because you weren't going fast enough to make it to the top. Amateurs. :P
My Neon cruises right around in this stuff since I added the second transmission to it.

Oh no, mine's not an SRT - I was talking about the RX7 transmission I've still got in the trunk.
I still remember the last big ice storm we had where we had snow, and then it misted rain on top of the snow, which then froze. It looked like snow but it was so strong, my Thunderbird wouldn't break through it. Plus, it was only frozen where there twas snow, so I had an inch and a half ice sheet all the way around the car, and no ice where the wheels were. I had to rock it back and forth to get out of my parking space!

Yeah, we were watching both that and a sissy dog for a friend who went out of town for like.... 4 days or something.... god i hate that dog. Thank god she got back in today so we are rid of that whining little .... animal... I now have my parking spot back too. We got a 96 ford thunderbird in the garage that never got the engine put back together(all it needed was new head gaskets) so its been sitting in the garage, taking up my potential garage spot, with the engine half apart for over 4 years now.
