Attn. Louisiana Rotorheads: We lost a Great Man Sunday !
I feel so bad for not being able to attend the funeral today. I attended the wake last night to make my peace and wish my good friend off to a better, pain-free life, but I still wish that I could have attended today.
The dedication is really incredible of you guys, and I really, really wish that I could attend. As of right now, it is looking like a no-go, but I will try my hardest to make it out there for Mark.
'Til we meet again, buddy!

Rayme came down with the flu and I was unable to make either service, I am terribly sorry. I called Freddie and let him know I was unable to come... I'm grateful for the times I got to meet mark and bs about website etc. He will be missed.
Very Nice Guy remembered.
It has been brought to my attention the sad news about the passing of Mark White.
Mark was a customer of my old tuning business in the late 90' era.
I remember him well and enjoyed talking with him. He was the type of customer that gave me satisfaction about being in the tuner business.
He drove all the way from New Orleans to Manassas, VA on more that one occasion to visit us at PFS. Very easy to deal with and interesting to talk to.
I offer my condolences to his family and friends and assure you he is well remembered by me.
Sincerely,
Peter Farrell

I was privileged to get to know Mark over the past year and a half or so. I work every other week in Houma LA where he lived and tried to make it a point to visit once each week when I was at work. We connected in many ways, and had many of the same interests (sports cars, guns, conservative politics, etc) and became good friends. Even though my FD is LS-1 powered (no "flameage", please) Mark was facinated by it, and considered it a testament to the timelessness and versatility of the FD chassis. I took him for a couple of rides in it on his favorite roads, and he was graciously complementary of it's performance and handling, even going so far as to say he thought a properly sorted out LSX powered FD could win the "One Lap of America Event".
I was even fortunate to take Mark for a short helicopter ride around Houma about a year ago along with Freddie Hebert, and they enjoyed it immensely.
I am privileged to have been his friend, and will miss him very much. Godspeed, Mark. I'll be seeing you again someday.

I get sad every time I see this thread when browsing the forum. I met Mark at RR a couple years ago. Very nice guy. I talked to him briefly and remember admiring his Fikse wheels. Some of you may want to know, the rotor that was being sent around to be signed for Mark has been sitting on Steve Kan's desk for over a month. He couldn't even make the effort to put in in the mail for the next person to sign.
Ted, Jack, Jonathan, etc., we have to have a meet once that rotor gets back down here. Signatures must be given.
MARK! I miss you so much, man! I think about you all the time...

Also, thanks to Kenny there are still a few Sevens on the Shore T-Shirts that are floating around and I wanted to make sure those who weren't in on that have a chance to get one especially since it has Marky Marks name on it.
KEEPIN YOU ALIVE in our Memories HOMIE !!!
About time. Its nice that some people care. This is where it was for over a month. Big props to Rich for stepping in and Alex (other owner of gotham and the only one who actually does work) for putting it in the mail.
