Cool Anyone with info to get a hold of Don Marvel???

You don't need to tell me what happen, I know what happen.
I had his phone and lost it.
All I want is, if anyone knows how to get in touch with him.
I appreciate the info.
Oh, and I'm not a collector or a lawyer, etc.
I know him well from when the shop was in his back yard.
TIA

RedBaron, do you mind my asking what you need to get in touch with him about? I can pretty much promise you that no matter what reason you have to want to get in touch with him, you should save yourself the trouble and avoid him all together. Nothing but bad news from that guy, regardless.

I remember meeting you and seeing your car years and years and years ago at some random cafe in Plano on 15th and something. Is your car still running strong?

Cool

Believe it or not, he built an engine for me, that lasted almost for forever and I treated that engine like a Biatch.
Don is a good guy and a great engine builder, too bad he got caught up with bad company.
I know you had issues with your engine, when things were not going well for him.
I have friends in common with him from Puerto Rico, that want to hook up with him.
If he has his life back together and this country (USA), likes comebacks and love giving second chances to all.
Lets hope he does, since the tuner/builders for Rotaries are getting very thin.
RP and BDC are the only left, if Gotham closes.

He built engines for a couple of my friends...based off of their recommendations I would've gone to him, but I had personally met Steve at the old Supra/RX7 club meets and put my faith in him. My friends raged to me how their motors survived detonation like three times. I've been in Hawaii and wasn't even aware that he had dissapeared...shame, but good luck with finding him.

If anyone has any credible information on locating Don, please PM RedBaron or anyone else looking for him privately.

My gut feeling is that when he wants to be found again he will pop-up. Until then you guys are just wasting your time.

If you don't have any real information please don't clutter the thread with hyperbole and nonsense. Thanks.

BDC is the way to go. I cant see how Dons ports would flow better then BDCs ports. My experience is two dead don motors still in break in. I have been abusing my BDC motor over the past year.

I recall someone telling me that he got his job back again at Town North Mazda in Richardson. I sure hope so. He's such a talented and nice guy. I just don't know what happened with him. Even though I've spoken to some who've had bad experiences with him (as customers), I'd rather remain neutral on that. He's done stuff for me before I started my own gig and did it on his days off w/o charging me. Those kinds of things I don't forget.

Whatever Don did to anyone, during his downward spiral, should be understood as a huge life mistake. And honestly comparing one persons motor building to another is futile, and second but more important, if you or anyone thinks the rotary would be where it is without Don you are VERY mistaken, VERY mistaken. Don is/was one of the most intelligent men I have ever had the pleasure of being in/doing business with, and just as an fyi, his porting was art work.

Hi Brian, thanks for the call or pm...........................
