Hey 80's here.... well Scott (7dust) and I headed up to College Station to do some autocross racing. It was Scotts first time to ever Autocross... We had some good times..

Took my ole 84 1st gen CSP car out there.

So I told Scott to quit being a ***** and drive the **** out of the car.... well he did... Watch at about 1:41 into the run.... he gets it sideways...overcorrects and does a 360 in the car... He then takes back off and accelerated hard through the shutdown area!!! He then gets his butt chewed by the A&M boy!! He deserved it!!

The prize goes to Scott for doing the best 1st gen wipeout!

Ok, so we are leaving College Station and my wife calls me and asks if we can drop by Chinatown and pick her up some groceries (she is Asian)... so we go and they are having this huge protest rally....not sure what it was cause they were yelling and shouting in Vietnamese... There was like 1000-2000 people there....Looked cool so we decided to join in the fun!!! We were so out of place, they started taking pictures of us!!

First weekend of October is a two day event in LaMarque at Gulf Greyhound Park... I will be there..

Nice vids. I know the horse track off of beltway 8 was doing this. Not sure if they still do.

 

They do it over at the Gulf Greyhound Park in LaMarque now. I go there every month. It usually is the 1st Sunday of every month.

October they will have a Saturday and Sunday event... Oct. 3rd, 4th...

Some folks should come out..it would be nice to get more RX-7 people out there!

Yeah that would be fine.... you need to join SCCA to race at SCCA events... it is worth it because you get good discounts on stuff and a cool magazine from SCCA.

You could either join SCCA through their website or at the day of the event. You can do like a $15 SCCA join to see if you like SCCA events...autocross, rally, rallycross, club racing etc....

If you are like me, you will love it and get addicted to autocross racing!!

I also race at the Houston Police Academy with the Houston BMW club...you don't have to join SCCA there...

Let me know what you would like to do...I really would like to see more RX-7's out there!
