We have 12 days before the race, the motor will be in the car and running on or before Monday (T-9 Days). Then we are going to try and tune the carb some at Scott's work parking lot, I need to order a smaller power valve for the holley carb, that is the only thing that it needs to make it run well.
The motor is going to be bad ***, phil doesn't think so, but i am saying about 250rwhp.
P.S. Scott the yard looks great in the background!

Big thanks to Chuck. We're installing the motor tomorrow and hope for the best.
Ari and the gang at Rotary Performance have been a huge help once again. Without them, we wouldn't have made it to any of the races in the past. Why they still have mercy on us is beyond me, but they are always eager to help out and take time out of their busy schedules to make sure we get on track.
The drive down to get the motor wasn't too bad, but on the way back we had a near blowout. Luckily we were able to stop before a giant bubble popped. A quick tire change and we were on our way. The adventures never seem in short supply when it comes to Lemons racing...

^^^ We're back from Louisiana... we didn't do tooo well in the standings BUT we are the winner of the Dangerous Banned Technology Award!!!
Louisiana was SO much better than Houston. The track is faster, the corner workers aren't buttholes, and HEY - they have a DRAGSTRIP! We ran the Lemons against the Babe Rally Cars and the Lemons OWNED them! Our Lemon's best time in the quarter was 16.1 - not too bad for a P.O.S.
The only bad point was that the Peoples Curse Winners packed up their Miata on the trailer and ran like a bunch of pussies when they were told they were getting crushed (same team that had been crushed TWICE in Houston). *********.

I just got home also
Things that are @@@@'ed on the lemons car
Waterpump to block gasket (this was the death sentance, this was scotts)
Clutch is gooooooooooone ( I filled the car with smoke gone, this was my doing)
Tires are to the metal bands ( this was phils doing)
Brakes are toast (this was a combined doing)
Paint job has writing all over it (this is dameons doing)
The funny thing is after running out of water multiple times running hotttttttttt ( x100 times) running out of oil twice the motor still runs and the water seals are still intact. I have never seen a motor survive that many over heating
