Hi Guys,
We are asking for donations for the BBQ as well. There are just 3 of us hosting this event and want to make it as nice as possible. Providing good food, drinks, awards, prizes, and also rental for the BBQ site location.

Anything will help.

You can make a donation by going HERE then clicking on the "Make A Donation" button.

For folks who have paid for thier t-shirts this can be considered as your donation. Although not required, people bringing more than 1 guest we ask that you make a donation for them.

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

David

Holy **** ballz!

We have 39 cars registered and over 60 people. and we still have about 3 weeks before the meet...

We have exceeded the maximum occupancy for the lot I reserved so I will work on renting the lot right beside it.

The more the merrier!

I guess you are right. We'll just wing it. We can all just say. "Oh, I saw a car like mine and though I would stop to check it out!"

you think you out of state people are going to need recommendations on where to stay? We can start looking at some places that are pretty cental if you want.

Heck, once all these Rotor cars start showing up, the rest of the park will either clear out thinking they are being invaded by a street gang, or will be coming to check 'em out.

That kinda sux. Would be nice to have something older than a first gen RX7 present.
Still trying to help a freind obtain a car, although they want to attend even if they cannot aquire one prior to the meet. Would be a little sad if they are forced to drive the 87 200SX to this meet.

I saw some pics of his car on the TulsaDyno website. See if they still have his info. Carlos should know how to get ahold of him I think...

Well, we went to check out the meet location again and it's great. We can comfortably hold 50 cars in there and more if we had to. As of yesterday we are officially at 40 cars and 62 people. Feel we will get a few more before the meet. So it's gonna be a blast.

For the people need a hotel. We have been shopping around and the ideal place we found would be $80 a night. It's in a good part of town and it's a brand new Best Wester that opened May 4th and its right by the Aquarium. Not too bad if you are splitting the cost with some one.

If that is too much it seems the going rate around town is about 45-55 a night in the busy part of town....Personally, I have a lot invested in my car. If I had to leave it outside for a night or two it would be at this new hotel right by the Aquarium. Plus, they just opend and have an incredible covered pool. Don't you want to be the first to pee in it?!

Let me know your thoughts on this.

HOTEL UPDATE!

We got the nice Best Western hotel that's next to the Aquarium lowered to $65 per night...That's definately worth it since you probably will be the first to sleep in the rooms. It just opened a couple days ago.

We will get the number and contact person you need to talk to about recieving the discount...More soon!

While the Best Western by the Aquarium (Jenks, Ok) is across town from the BBQ location, it is very close to the Creek Turnpike. This highway will get you very close to the BBQ, for less than $1 (coin operated toll boothes, so have change). Plenty of shopping close at hand, along with other stuff to do during the "down time". Heck, there is even a Starbucks close by. Plenty of eateries near, as well.
I live about 5 miles from this hotel, and it is a very nice area, with far less traffic to contend with, than most other areas with a decent hotel.
