TNT on Friday is 6pm-10pm. Saturday is 10pm-2am. I'm going to request off for the whole weekend so I can do 2 days. Check the TRP website to make sure you pass tech. I'm sure everybody will. http://www.tulsaracewaypark.com

Probably. The more strict rules are for the really fast cars. If you aren't faster than 14s then you pretty much don't need to worry. Anything faster than 14s needs a helmet. Here's all the rules for everybody else: http://tulsaracewaypark.com/saftey.htm

Yes... "I" would be pissed if you didn't run at least a 13.

Well a 300ZX TT with a few mods does 13s so compare to that. Just make sure you bring a snell 90 rated helmet. They will enforce it after they know you run 13s or better. I'd be happy to get into the 15s. My best is 16.1

I will make every effort to attend the BBQ. I may even go to TRP, but I doubt I would run my car more than one pass. I just hate having to slow down that much before the first turn
The real unknown, is when the state is going to send back the paperwork for the title I hate having to go visit my car at the impound yard I purchased it from. Already run 1/2 tank of gas out of it, and can't get on the street

Well TRP has plenty of room to slow down. There are 3 turnoffs. Don't worry about slowing down really fast, but I always make the first turnoff. I'd love to see more than one rotary at TRP. (me)

I will go too. I have never run my car at the track so it would be good to go see exactly how much I suck

I will likely be going to hallett, dunno if I will be able to run tho. I have several freinds that race out there, so I try to go every chance I get. Anyone that needs directions to hallett, I will be happy post them. If there are enough people that want to go, we can meet somewhere, and cruise out together. Best to take a cooler, cause food and drinks are kinda high at the track.

As for meeting at haikey creek, it would be best to post a map and directions, for anyone coming in from outta town.

Heres the best I could do from map quest. Two easy ways to get to the park once you get into town. You can either go down Garnett till you drive through the park, or get on riverside and drive till you get to the park. Riverside turns into E. 121st. If you come in off hwy 75 (not shown and west of the river) you have to cross right over riverside.

FWIW - I use all three mapping service extensively as part of my job.

I have found that google is the easiet to use and generally very well suited for normal everyday use.

Yahoo! maps is actually more detailed and most of the time more accurate.

Google sometimes places the markers "near" the location but maybe up to 1-2 streets away.

Mapquest is just plan weak (most of the time)

I agree that google isn't entirely accurate, but those maps are just damn sexy and detailed. First mapping service that has my address correct.

Talking

Interesting thing happened today. I went to my insurance agents office to get insurance on my 7. The woman that was helping me told me they had been looking for a 7, but couldn't locate a good car at a good price. So they bought a RX8. I informed her about this event, and she said they would try to make it
