I have been all over that car since he did the swap and I've noticed all kinds of stuff hooked up wront. The ground that grounds to the long bolt on the starter is unplugged, I have no reverse lights because he didn't reconnect that, and of course...
After dropping everything I had in the bank into this car to fix it/upgrade it.... THE DAMN CLUTCH IS SLIPPING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
*sigh*
Hi. I have an Rx-7.
Who did the rebuild always post who so others wont make the same misstake.Next time bring your rx-7 to ROTARY RESOURCE (918)-280-8895 ROB you wont regret it.We try to note all existing problems with a motor before we install evey rebuild all parts are mill guage checked if they are being reused. If the clutch is slipping whoever did the rebuild 4 u did not check the disk with a mill guage nor did they check and resurface your flywheel this is done free of charge with every motor rebuild at our shop.Makes more sence to inform the customer of any forseen problems to come look at problem and decide if they wish to have it fixed/replaced .This is how we do it anyway.I am very positive our shop is the ONLY rotary shop worthy of working on or rebuilding these motors in OKLAHOMA.Give me a call and I will show you some of our work. Some of the people on this very thread have motors built by us.

We may have to overflow into the area beside ours

I'm really interested in having you guys figure out my idle/lack of power problem because I have been unable to figure it out. If my mechanic who is doing my tranny work doesn't work out I will def call you. I haven't even gotten the bill for the flywheel, clutch, or pressure plate in yet and they are failing.
Def PM or post your number for me. I know I will end up calling you guys for help. Do you guys perhaps allow you customer's to bring the parts they want installed and then install it for labor? If so you can def expect business from me.
Man, I think we are going to have a bunch of late comers
What do you guys guess the final amt. of cars and people registered?
I say 54 cars and 102 people
I was cruizing by a decent size parking lot and decided to count the cars just to have an idea of how it will look to have everyone stacked in there...It's alot :O

How about 55 cars, and 110 people. Sounds like a good number to me.......
Wonder if anyone will try calling the police, about the "Gang meeting"

Be interested to know kind of fuel mileage an 8 gets, compared to the 25.5 MPG I averaged with my '83.
The 8s are sporratic in the area. I can go for weeks without seeing one on the road and then see 5 in one day.
Gas mileage isn't that great, averaging 20 mpg around the forum (I'm guesstimating). Personally, I get 17-18 with all city, 21-22 all highway.
