{DFW} Rx7 Club Meet 4.5.2008

Where: 635 & MaCarthur at chedars
Time 8:00PM

We are doing a cruise no later then 9:00 (so try and get there coser to 8:00)

The route is similar to last time, 635 east to the tollway, and then south on the tollway. the cruise will end at Cafe Rembrandt {they have their own big private parking lot)

So that there is no confusion:
Take the Dallas North Tollway southbound past the main toll gate. You will take the Interstate 35-E exit and stay on the service road to Continental Avenue. Turn left on Continental and go under the freeway. Just past the freeway you will find an entrance to "The Brewery" on your right.

Depends on which group you're with. Lead group.... 110ish and higher, the 5-10 mins behind group..... 80ish with a few speed bursts.

I did say 110ish and higher. Not everyone stays in it like Clint does. The roads are fairly smooth on that side of town with an occasional harsh dip or bump.

110 is about as fast as you can average with traffic, though last time a couple of us cruised at 150+ for a couple miles.
as far as suspension, there is one bumpy part, other then that its really smooth

If I can get my car started and cleaned up, I'll head out. I need to get my starter rebuilt as it's hardly cranking over if at all even with the bang on it with a big wrench trick.

we are not going to be anywhere near the track, and the up town area is not exactly the place where you find a lot of NASCAR fans...

So Clint is the guy I will be next to on the cruise because he likes to use 5th gear as well.

And Brandon this is Thaad, Juan said if your seriously selling your FC, he might be interested. I think the rotors are addicting to him.

I feel stupid... I had less than 10 posted and couldn't see your Red FC in that pic. Then I ask if that is you.

But yeah, he is thinking about going rotary.
And I need a new daily driver after my ShitStang lost a piston ring. Imagine that, you have a daily driver because you have an FD and then your daily fails...

What is a fun yet reliable daily driver? And cheap...
