Well, I'll try to make it. I still have a lot of work to do on my GSL-SE after having pulled out of the autocross on Father's Day. I need to swap in the factory ignition, check timing, find an electical gremlin and lighten up my fuel maps a LOT. Change plugs, wash, rinse, repeat. Heck, I may just bring the Triumph Spitfire out.

Those old British cars never run for long if you actually drive them around

Although I like Spitfires and TR-6's I'd never put myself in the position of actually owning one

It's a purely for-profit car. I bought it for $400 with no rust, all the stock parts, a Pierce intake manifold and Weber DGV 32/36. It didn't run at that point in time.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello, but it was a pretty busy day for me. Here's a video from my CSP Miata for those who didn't make it.

I'm looking forward to seeing your CSP car Tim.

^ That looked like a great run. Your driving in the vid looks much more calm than mine on that course. I had to grab my car by the scruff of the neck and pummel it around that course to go fast.

Thanks! Sounds like your driving style is a lot like what I had to do with my BSP M3. Relatively smooth driving pays off a lot more on Miatas than in the bigger cars.

Now If I could swap your engine into my Miata we'd have a really cool SM2 car!
