Xs TO4X2 single turbo

Has anybody used one of these turbos on an FD? If so, what type of HP numbers did you get from it? I'm looking for a turbo that can get me 550-600hp. Looking to boost around 15-17 psi. What turbo would work the best with the least amount of lag.

Ralph (Xcessive on RX7club) at Ground Zero Motorsports has also used the turbo I think. Its not the turbo for you if your concerned about lag.

I remember Ralph saying that the turbo hit realy hard at around 5,500 then again at 7,500 with his large street ported Pineapple motor. He was shifting the engine at 9k. CJ

I'm not shure, but I think Ralph said it was around the same size/style of a non BB T-66. Just like a T04S is like a 60-1 roughly. CJ

The TO4X2 was the best all around turbo I ever had. It had more
topend than my to4S and about the same bottom end as the to4s.
I changed because it didnt want to boost steady past about 24psi,
so I went to the T72. The TO4X2 I had, was a 1.15 AR hotside, with
a ptrim wheel. Hey CJ, tammers new turbo arrived, GT42 and its almost twice the size of my T72. Its going to sean at ASPEC for a custom manifold to hold it up, it weighs 44lbs. Ralph

A 44 pound turbo?? That thing must be a total beast!! Sorry about the thread hijack by the way. Wasn't the GT42 the same turbo that Magnus was talking about being the ultimate big hp turbo for the 13B??

****, I talked to some of the guys at a local shop and they showed me the new GT42R. HOLY ****. I almost creamed my pants and its weight was almost 100 lbs. This thing was huge. They said it could support up to 1000 hp on supras, but wasn't sure if it would work on mine.

13Bs spool up turbos faster than Supras do, there is a GT42R turbo kit from Magnus Motorsports for the 13B. And it only weighs 44lbs, not 100. Just dont expect quick response.
