Newbee, PSI Control, Fuel cut & Timming

Ok, I just Bough and repaired a 1991 Turbo Engine on a 1987 RX7, My Mechanic jut told me this motors, 1991 have several problems when boosting over 10 PSI I need to be concerned, For Example Timing,

How Can I solve?

1) Timming when pass 10 PSI?
2) Notice increase in Boost after repair, Mild trim and Scape was done as part of the repair, How do I control Boost? Boost Controler, Recomendations , Does Manual one will work Fine?

3) Fuel cut, Does this cars have Fuel Cut, Under what conditions, Just punch it a little in third gear and notice a stall arround 12 PSI, Remember I'm still not running it hard since is under Break-In, Whas it fuel cut?, Any Ideas?

4) One more qestions, I feel a slight vibration that increases after 50 MPH, Any ideas of what might be, The motor Mounts are new, Balanced the rear Tires just in case but the vibration still there, Could it be the Caldan? Or Maybe The Transmission Mounts,

If this is about the stock turbo, you should really be asking it in the 2nd gen section.

But to answer your questions, yeah the stock fuel system has problems when you try to raise the boost. Theres a fuel cut that kicks in at around 9 psi, you'll need an fcd to get around it. You shouldn't be running that much boost unless you've modified your fuel system though. Alot of TIIs have died due to people just throwing on an fcd. The timing problem is related to the fcd, since what the fcd does is trick the ecu into thinking the boost level is lower, this stops fuel cut, but also stops it from further retarding the timing.

Try searching in the 2nd gen forum, theres alot of information on how to safely modify your car. Also, if you're breaking in an engine, you should not be seeing any boost, especially not 12psi.
