Will s5 turbo fix boost creep?

If I install a s5 turbo on my s4 T2, will the wastegate still have to be ported?

porting the wastegate is not a bad idea but not really necessary unless you are doing major high speed driving or running higher boost levels...

Are you having a boost creep problem. The S5 turbo does have a bigger wastegate opening (2) so it can help, but whether it will solve your problem, will depend on how much flow you need.

You could consider an external gate.

Port it while it's out. I've never heard anyone complaining about "too much wastgate flow".

These guys have the answer to boost creep on the S5 turbo. Check out the link at the bottom to dcee's post. Good before and after shots of the wastegate.

Well what mods have you done to the car so far. Heffboost is right though, you can't have too much wastegate flow. So if you have the W/G out you might as well port it. You never know what upgrades you will do in the future.

I have a full RB exhaust setup. 2.5 dp and midpipe, and then the cat back system. I have a apexi cone filter on the front of it and a RB FCD. I just want to run safe boost levels and I can get a s5 turbo cheap from someone i know.

dcee: Your pics on the thread don't show up anymore for me. Did the link change or is it just me?
