Will a 6768 get me to 600whp?

I got the bigger compressor housing, 4" in 3" out, and the .96 a/r hot side. Really there is only one way to set these up for a rotary IMO. I guess there are other hot side options out there for divided T4, but this will work. I went with the journal bearing. I would love to have a DBB, but the extra cost just isn't worth it to me.
Thanks.

Some pics. I'm an idiot and forgot the obligatory beer can next to the turbo for size reference, but here you go. My exhaust manifold is going to have to be modified i believe in order for it to fit, but we'll see. Its just barely rubbing on the right most bolt on the GZ lower. I may be able to grind it a bit off, but i'm not a fan of doing that.

What are the specs on your engine port wise etc....also at what rpm do you expect to see boost?
Can't wait to see your numbers...

I went back to a street port on this motor. I really can't say for sure on the rpm, but i'd like to see at least 15 lbs by 3750. All i know is that it will spool faster than my old one and probably make more power at that pressure level. I'm changing a lot of things at once, so i'm probably just going to have to wait and see.

The reason I ask is because I have been waiting for a 13BRE for a while which I paid for and I am about to go with a REW just because Im tired of waiting and I would like to know how to go about making it breathe like a BRE on the intake side of things...its going in an RX-8 which has shorter gears so I need a power band that will at least get to 8-8500rpm or it will feel like a truck.

Its like 1/2 of a custom manifold. I bought it off another forum member a while ago. I've yet to run it on the car, so i'll hold off on posting about it until i've got some numbers.
Honestly, i think for only 600 to the wheels the stock manifolds will work on both motors. I'm just hoping to make more with less.

I'm excited to see what it will do, since I didn't get a chance to fully test it.

Don't want to rain on your parade, but with the open 0.96 housing and a pretty aggressively streetported T2, I didn't hit 15 psi with the 6768 until well over 4000 RPM. I think it was around 4300 or 4500 RPM, can't remember. But that wasn't with a proper tune on it, I was still somewhat working a base map before the cracking both front and rear irons. Let us know how it goes though, and worse case scenario there's a member on here that can source divided housings for that turbo, PM me if you need any info.

I even made a thread about it since I found it so odd...

thats a interesting thought but i beg to differ. It depends on tune and manifold design, intercooler set-up porting as well as exhaust. I made 535hp on 20 psi, precision 6765, water injection on the custom long runner manifolds that i make with a full 3" exhaust and i get full boost at 4000 and no lag between shifts.

I find increase in power after 5,000 RPM interesting. That's roughly a 70-80 rwhp increase in 500 RPM vs the 25-30 per 500 RPM that happens after. I'm experiencing a similar powerband using the butt dyno with my new 6765 with the H-cover and new fully divided manifold /w 4" exhaust. Any chance you could provide a log of a pull? Also, what cover are you running?
I even made a thread about it since I found it so odd...
