^Exactly and thx for clarifying my above examples. My stock fd went 108k on the original engine until it blew from over boosting. I drove my car economically and cooled it down properly before shutdown. Even my engine harness was still nice and flexible when I sold it. The power band is so high in the rpm range with these huge single turbos, these engines dont really stress till you hit that point. Hell a factory twin turbo engine is under more stress in the 3k and lower rpm range than any hi hp single turbo in the same range. The fact is your not going to blow a 13b cruising around below 3,500rpms and staying out of boost. Build it for hi power, drive it economically and it will last. The concept is quite simple.
