A-spec surge tanks

What for and what size? We make one that fits under the rear of the car for fuel so it doesn't need to be in the car.Not the best pic but it gives you a idea.

I had this thought as well.

Is it bad to mount the Surge Tank, external pump and filter in the engine bay? It would be on the other side as the exhaust at least.

I fear it is in the engine bay or a storage bin for me.

The one shown can work with stock lines as well. People do mount tanks in the engine bay with success. The main reason the one shown is where it is is so you don't need it in the vehicle.

i personally dont like to ADD places to leak in my engine bay. . . thats why i mounted my fuel filter on the rear subframe. if i were to do anything like that. . . itd be outside of the engine bay as well. fuel leaks are annoying and dangerous and better off OUTSIDE of the engine bay.

im not claiming that the tanks leak, but user error and mechanical failure are REAL and thats why i dont care for it. . . plus, keeping the engine bay clean is a plus. . . clutter only adds to the laundry list of cusswords that flows from the mouth when bent over the fender trying to work on something that you couldnt fit your. . . finger. . . into.

Those are well priced, why not by one of them? Or, cut a piece of 6" pipe, weld a plate to either end, and some fittings...
