Whats done to this fd its ungodly fast?
>>if you are on the gas when you say you are then thats great and im mistaken. and now that we know you were only running low boost the vid is more impressive.
thanks racerX
>>i wasnt trying to bash you i just felt that i couldnt really hear you getting on the gas very soon and i thought it may help you to be more conscious (sp) of it next time youre on the track.
no sweat, I dont take stuff like this personal, i try to really look at it as points to improve if there are valid points
>>dont take it as oh your car sucks, but i honestly feel that from watching the video you could be on it sooner.
yes, I probably can, but I am only in my seconds year doing track events, and only my first year on the BIG tracks, so I feel a little new at the game still and want to easy my way up to that edge.
>>do you hit any of the tracks in the midwest area??
what do you concider the midwest area? I live in MN and cant afford a trailer so I have to drive the car to the tracks, I have hit RoadAmerica (6 hours one way) and MidAmerica (6 hours one way), BIR is only a few hours away. NExt season I will hit Joilet (new track in Illinois) and try to get to Mid-Ohio and VIR. gonna be another fun season :-)
I friggin love driving!!!
thanks racerX

I will ge tthe car back together by first week in april, that is when its getting tuned up (for road racing) and the first event is the following week at road america, I will get numbers/video up shortly after.
keep in mind i am not a drag racer or hungry power monger, so I am not running high boost or pushing for on the edge of exploding horepower, I am going for efficint and reliable power, probably 12 psi and maybe 15 psi, for pump gas and maybe a setting for 18 psi on race gas.... but i doubt it... 12 and 15 are goals, hoping for 12 being around the 380-400 range and 15 being more in the 430-440 range.
Hey Damian. PM'd You. Question about who is doing you tuning. My car is pissing me off. I gotta put my T78 in before this spring and get it retuned. Plus i gotta get back on Northstar website.

Haha. I think you are a good *** driver. In the videos it looks like you take the turns with ease, and flow back into the gas smoothly. My Uncle did a ton of road races when he was younger, and he said it looks like you know what you are doing. Guess that guy (RacerX_IU) thinks staying sideways is fun. But this isn't drifting
