what turbo is this?

Im going to post up some pictures as soon as I can borrow a digital camera. But I just picked up a turbo for pretty cheap and was wondering what exactly it is. I know its a T04b because it says so on the plate on the back, but I can't find any AR or anything. The plate also says BorgWarner turbo systems. And there appears to be an H stamped into the metal on the turbine side. Other than that it's got 8 double-blades in the inlet. Looks to be oil cooled only. Any ideas?

8 blades is probably a S trim....the smallest of the T04B family. Too small for above stock level power.

Ok heres some pics of it. Inlet measured 3 inch, the impeller measured 57mm across.
Only other thing I noticed was a 115 stamped into the turbine to the right of the H. This thing looks bigger than the stock snail.

is that 57mm measurement with the compressor housing off? It looks like a S trim

yea with the housing off.

also by looking here http://fc3spro.com/TECH/TURBO/tmodels.html and a guesstimation it might be a TO4b "H trim" hooray? Is the thing worth a crap?
The inch measurements I got was 3 in inlet, hair over 2.2in inducer, 3in exducer.

Just by looking at the blade design, I don't think it's an H. It's at best a V trim. You need to measure it with a dial caliper.

a H trim has a 6 blade design and has a 2.298" inducer
a V trim has either a 7 or 8 (I forget) blade design and has a 2.180" inducer

It would be difficult to measure the difference with a tape measure

ok heres what the caliper says. 2.1875in from the tips of the blades opposing eachother. smells like a v trim then. So what does that mean?

It has 115 stamped into it does that determine the type of turbine on it? I'm kind of a noob with all the turbo specifics... It measured about 2.7 inches. havn't taken it off to measure it with the caliper yet.
