What Turbo
Watz up people,
I gotta twin turbo 93 rx7...i wanna get this gt35/40 single turbo kit. Wat you guys think? I've already got an HKS Hiper Exhuast, and it sais that this turbo hits 700 hp! seems like its a little too good ta be true. Just some advice would help. You can go see this turbo at rx7store.net, under the turbo kits.

Looks like you have a lot of research ahead of you. Use the search function. Horsepower is gonna be dependent upon a lot of things. The turbo "may" be able to support 700hp but you won't get that at reliable or reasonable boost levels.

700hp is not a real world rotary rwhp number for that turbo. That 700hp is probably flywheel horsepower on a piston motor. Although this turbo should still be good for 500rwhp with good tuning/good porting. Oh and you'll need lots more upgrades to be able to go single turbo, injectors, fuel pump, programmable EMS, etc.

It could be possible.... but would require a lot of work and some serious cash spent.
Full bridgeport and 28-32 psi should give you around 700rwhp with that turbo. (not to mention all the other mods necessary when doing this).
It's not as simple and bolting the turbo onto the engine and turning the boost up... hell no!
