What is this setup capable of?

Right now my RX7 is setup with a T78, all supporting mods.

It has a TEC3 standalone and ignition, rebuilt Atkins motor with 3mm apex seals (3k on motor).

It was built and tuned by PF Supercars. Right now it has been dyno'd at 10psi@293whp and 15-16psi@374whp.

I know the T78 is capable of numbers much higher than this, but with the stock porting I know its somewhat limited...although I know 374whp is not the limit.

My main question is, since I have the ability to adjust the boost (via mbc) to any pressure I want (I mainly keep it on 10psi for city, then 16psi for cruising on the weekends) is it safe for me to turn it up to 18 or so?

Basically, will the programming adjust the fuel accordingly if I go any higher? I know it was tuned/dyno'd at 16psi but does that mean I should never turn the boost up any higher than that on select days? Im not looking to hit 21+psi but is anything over 16 just dangerous or is it ok with the 3mm apex seals?

Any help would be great,
Thanks

NO, maybe after some more info on your fuel system, but its mostly dependant on the tune/map of your fuel injection/ignition system.

Only the tuner knows for sure unless you know a little bit about tunning and can look at your maps. It's safe to say though, if it was tuned for 16 psi, then anything above and your taking a chance till you learn more about your car.

I highly suggest you do some researching, first make sure your fuel system is up to it, (large enough injectors, after market pressure regulator, high flowing fuel pump, etc etc). Then get an experianced person with tunning look at your maps to see what was done after 16 psi on the tables. Then start to crank the boost up slowly, using a knock and I suggest a wideband sensor too. Or just pay another tuner and do it on the dyno. Anything after 14~16 psi is really risky on normal pump fuel. Sure theres those who get away way with 21 psi daily, but I've seen people eat lightbulbs and razor blades and not get hurt, that doesnt mean I'm going to try it. Your going to need alcohol and/or water injection or use race fuel to go higher boost. Again, heed the warning, anything after 16 psi and your driving a time bomb. Theres TONS of water / alc info on this site.
