What are my options on replacing 60-1

I have a Turbonetics T04B 60-1 .96a/r on a hks manifold.

http://www.turboneticsinc.com/t4.html

What other turbos can I buy to replace it that would fit and will keep me from modifying my existing exhaust and intake placement?

I cannot find the boost lag issue and I have done everything twice. This is on a 10psi spring.

I get:
4260rpm = 4.3psi
4960rpm = 8.5 psi
6220rpm = 9.9 psi

My friends KKK does 17psi by 4300RPM.

It would cost me $550cdn + taxes and shipping to rebuild this brand new unit.

Thanks,

You may have a boost leak issue. Maybe your wastegate is stuck open? That seems really laggy, but I don't think it's the turbo's fault.

Na, I've pulled the wg off twice. And video taped it in action. Its good. And no vacuum leak. Getting -520"hg.

Thanks for your help.

Hey Ian is your exhaust wheel clipped, or what trim is it?

Clipped? Isn't that something you would do for a tock turbo? Its a p-trim. T04B 60-1 Turbonetics turbo.

some manufacturer's when they build turbos they clip 1-4 degrees off the turbine so that their assembly can't be over spun... sometimes they clip too much to accomplish this purpose. for instance a certain trim of exhaust wheel and size with another trim and size of compressor wheel might not allow for a good ballance the Turbine may have enough potential to over spin the assembly.. In other words the compressor side of things doesn't create enough "load" on the Turbine so that it is ballanced this is why some manufacturer's clip their turbines a couple of degrees to compensate for this.
Hope that makes sense.

Na. I had it on so tight that it barely went off at all. Boost still should build relatively quick still I would think.

The turbo that you buy should have the same exhaust housing with same vband flange..
