What the Hell do I GOT?. (CHRA)
Ok.as you guys know I had the Smoke problem with the Garrett T04S and I finally disassembled it and found a sticky Journal bearing.The assembly does not rotate freely so I am thinking Rebuild or Replace.
It has resistance,almost squeaky..
Specs that I got from the CHRA are:
the Front turbine wheel is 66.6 and 84.
The back wheel is 11 bladed. 64.3 and 74.3
The Center cartridge has no visible part numbers other than an |"A" and a "Y5" raised in the cast.It is oil cooled only.
Exhaust housing is a .96 Undivided with a 3 inch Vband out.
Compressor housing is a .70 (says M24 and EC-1 on it..)
Now I crossreference the turbine wheels with the Garrett replacement T04S Cartridge and I get Squat...Nothing.
the size of wheel is not showing up as what I got.
Any IDEAS?..
Is there a Compatable Turbo with the same Power that I can get BUT use my Exhaust housing??..as it has an Extra INCH extended on the Vband to go to my custom downpipe.(I need compatability so I do not have to TUNE again.)

Funny I look at CRAP and I see the specs of this Turbo:

I'm just going to lock this up,seeing I have sent the turbo out to get rebuilt.
This guy is very communicative and I tracked the turbo to his shop.
2 HOURS after the turbo arrived at his shop he was on the phone with me.(Impressive!)
